GORLEWSKI, Julius Frank - Of Burton, age 87, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held 11am Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Father Georges Roger Bidzogo officiating.
Visitation 4-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Julius was born in Alpena, Michigan on April 6, 1937 and was a resident of Burton since 1964. He married Carol Beland on August 30, 1958 in Alpena. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. He sailed on boats for Hurton Portland Cement for 9 years. He was a member of Eagles Aerie #3814 and UAW Local #598. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council #10170. Mr. Gorlewski was employed by General Motors Truck and Bus Plant for 29 years, retiring in 1995.
Surviving are son, Bruce of Burton;
Grandchildren, Jade and Harley;
Sister, Loretta LeDuc of Alpena;
And Many nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol, his parents and brother, Louis.
