KUZAVA, Cheryll Lee – of Clio, age 76, died Monday, February 3, 2020 at her residence. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2020 at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Michigan. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, February 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County or the Genesee County Animal Shelter.
Cheryll was born October 29, 1943 in Mt. Clemens, Michigan to the late John and Margie (Davis) Bryson. She grew up in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1961. Cheryll went on to get her Nursing Degree from Mott Community College in 1974. On July 15, 1980 she married Bernard John Kuzava and he preceded her in death in 2006. Prior to her retirement in December 12, 2003, Cheryll worked for Hurley Medical Center as an LPN with 30 years of service. She was an animal lover and fostered dogs for Kreacher Konnections. Cheryll enjoyed reading, gardening, and hosting family Christmas. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: Children, Kevin (Thu) Skidmore, Todd (Rebecca) Jackson, Darren Jackson; Grandchildren, Kaitlyn (David) Simpson, Tyler Jackson, Taylar Jackson, Kristin Jackson, Noah Jackson, Phung Doan, Long Doan; Siblings, Judith (Bill) Brodie, Linda (Joe) Bryson; Nieces and Nephews, David (Shawn) Bryson, Kristi (John) Carver, Julie (David) Blake. She was preceded in death by her Parents; Husband, Bernard Kuzava; Brother, John Bryson; Step-father, Marshall Myers.
