SCHLENKER, Ann Elaine – Of Flint, age 91, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at her residence.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00am on Friday, February 3, 2023 at St. Pius X Catholic Church G-3139 Hogarth Avenue, with Father Anthony Strouse officiating.
Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 9:00am Friday until the time of Mass at the church.
Ann was born in Merrill, Michigan on March 16, 1931, the daughter of the late Clyde and Anna (Leonard) Easlick.
She married Paul Schlenker on January 28, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 1, 2008. Ann was a faithful member of St. Pius X Catholic Church.
Ann enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, reading history and staying up on current affairs. She loved cats and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan. Ann was a wonderful mother and homemaker. She loved God and the church and all of her family and friends dearly.
Surviving are her 5 children, Tom of Flint,
Linda of Swartz Creek,
Paul and wife Barbara of Normal, Illinois, Richard and wife Stephanie of Flint and
Susan of Flint;
6 grandchildren, Dayna, Matthew, Kayla and Adam Schlenker, Jessica and Erin Yanta;
brother, James and wife Alice Easlick of Hemlock, Michigan;
sister, Jane Easlick of Hemlock, Michigan;
brother-in-law, Pierre Loiselle of Hemlock and 2 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Schlenker; parents, Clyde and Anna Easlick and sister, Lillian Loiselle.
