WAIDER, Yvette – Of Mt. Morris, age 95, died Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Ascension Genesys Hospital.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Road.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Yvette was born in Le Mans, France on January 30, 1927, the daughter of the late Leon and Madeleine Provost and was a resident of Mt. Morris for 42 years, and prior to that resided in Flint.
She married Robert Waider on August 3, 1946 and he preceded her in death.
Yvette was a member of El Said Court #28.
She enjoyed traveling, reading, crossword puzzles, occasional trips to the casino and was a Jeopardy fan. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are daughter, Diane and husband Richard Fox of Gaines;
sons, Frank and wife Debbie Waider of Burton,
Roger Waider of Mt. Morris and girlfriend, Mary Boatright of Burton,
Terry and wife Roxanne Waider of Tecumseh, Michigan;
granddaughters, Jennifer (James) DePottey of Battle Creek, Kimberly (Kraig) Visser of Traverse City and
Natalie Fox and boyfriend, Bill Rhyne of Fenton;
grandsons, Christopher Waider of Burton, Brandon (Kayla) Waider of Ferndale, John Waider of Grand Blanc and Dustin (Carissa) Waider of Fenton;
great-grandchildren, Jacob, Samantha and Kristina Zerka, Josie and Ellie Visser, Hailey and Austin Waider, Jameson DePottey, Adeleine Waider and Taylor Waider;
sister, Sylviane Doyle;
several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; sister, Ginette Provost and brother, Roger Provost.
