Pamela (Penny) was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world suddenly on April 3rd, 2023 at age 73.
Pamela Irene (Ward) Nowak was born on November 8, 1949, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester and Lois (Anders) Ward. She graduated from Hamady High School and married Leonard Nowak to whom she was married to for 33 years. Together they had and raised two children: Len and Jennifer.
Penny loved to cook for her family and friends and was always there if you needed to talk. She loved animals and had a dog and several cats. At her request, no service will be held. A celebration in her honor will be held at a future date. If you wish to make a memorial donation in her honor, please donate to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Penny is survived by her son Leonard (Jessica) Nowak III, daughter Jennifer Nowak, her sister Lawanda (Gus) Johnson, former husband Leonard Nowak, three grandchildren: Emma, Amelia and Daniel, and many cousins, nephews, and a niece.
Pamela is preceded in death by her parents and her sister Amanda (Vaughn) Bright.
