Woody Perryman, born in Birmingham, Alabama on August 23, 1944, was the beloved son of the late Howell and Helen (Wood) Perryman. On April 4, 1971, he embarked on a lifelong journey with his loving wife, Pamela Ellen Nichol. Woody's academic journey led him to Michigan State University, where he attained a bachelor's degree in science with a focus on Education.

His professional life was marked by a dedicated 19-year tenure at Capac Schools, where he served as an esteemed educator and Varsity Basketball Coach. In recognition of his outstanding contributions, Woody was honored with induction into the Capac Hall of Fame in 2016.

Beyond his career, Woody held a deep commitment to physical fitness, maintaining a disciplined regimen of workouts. His passion extended to the world of sports, with a particular fondness for basketball, and an unwavering devotion to the Michigan State Spartans.

However, it was in his role as a father that Woody found his greatest joy. He relished every moment spent with his son, cheering him on as he participated in various sports. In the twilight of his life, his heart brimmed with happiness while in the company of his son, daughter-in-law, and cherished grandchildren.

Woody Perryman's life stands as a testament to his dedication, passion, and love for both education and family, leaving behind an indelible legacy of hard work and profound affection.
