JAROU John Kaiser – Of Burton, age 70, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, left this world on Thursday, January 16, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend Paul Ytterock officiating.
Visitation 4-8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Cremation will take place following the service.
John was born in Flint, Michigan on March 29, 1954, the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Berry) Jarou. John attended and graduated from the Flint Community Schools starting with Gundry and Brownell Elementary, Holmes Jr. High and Northwestern High School. John worked for the Grand Blanc School System in the Maintenance Department for forty years. John loved to play music and was an excellent guitarist. He also enjoyed playing poker with his friends and camping with his brother, Jim. He attended First Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his brother, James Jarou;
Sister, Jamelee and her husband Dr. Bill Ryckman;
Nieces, Mary Ann Thomas, Jessica Jarou and Barbara Lynn;
Nephews Dean Ryckman and Dr. Zachary Jarou;
And many cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jonathan and nephew, Joseph.
