SEAY, Marieta L. “Fern” - Of Flint, age 81, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Wednesday, January 22, 2014
at the Church of God of Prophecy, 1143 West Parkwood Avenue, Flint,
Reverend Jim Willford officiating.
Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
Visitation 10am Wednesday at the church until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation.
Marieta was born in Flint on April 1, 1932 and retired from General Motors in 1983. She loved to bowl and travel with her family and was an avid game player, especially Dice. She looked forward to the “mother-daughter” birthday celebration each year.
Surviving are sister and Pastor, Gail Allen;
children, Shelley Drummond, Donna Savoie(Tony), Robert Seay and Ronnie Perry (Dennis);
9 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild;
several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, grandson, parents, brothers and sisters.
