Karen Sue Hursh - Age 77, of Fenton, passed away July 31, 2025. Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, August 11, 2025 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-6 PM Sunday, August 10, 2025 and from 10AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions in Karen's memory to the American Cancer Society. Karen was born November 29, 1947 in Pontiac, the daughter of the late Walter G. Jr. and Dorothy Marie (Simmons) Nelson. She married Arthur L. Hursh on May 8, 1982 in Holly. Karen retired from General Motors/EDS in 1999. Following retirement, she and Art wintered at Ramblers Rest in Venice, FL for 17 years, where she was active in numerous activities. She enjoyed cruising, crafts, scrapbooking and playing the ukulele. Karen loved her family and doting on her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Art; daughters, Dawn (Brad) McMichael, Heather (Ed) Rensi and Misty Kelsey; grandchildren, Bobby, Kyler (Nicole), Alex, Marissa (Jake), Aiden, Colin and Owen; sister, Shirley (John) Spina.
