Ronald Patrick Jackett, age 82, of Grand Blanc, Michigan passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022.
Ronald was born June 4, 1940, to the late Jerome and Barbara (Mathey) Jackett in Bay City, Michigan. He was a wonderful man who would often say he was "commander of the world." In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, woodworking and playing poker. He dedicated himself to General Motors for 38 years, where he met his loving wife, Helen. Ronald and Helen spent many trips visiting one of his favorite places, Las Vegas. He was a man who wasn't afraid to speak his mind, liked to have things in an orderly fashion, and had a colorful personality. Ronald truly loved his grandchildren and his family. He will be dearly missed by them, and everyone who had the privilege to know him.
Ronald leaves behind to cherish in his memory his wife of 42 years, Helen; sons Ronald James (Jane) Jackett and John David (Michele) Jackett; stepson Daniel David (Monta) Hayes; grandchildren Ronald James Jackett II (fiancée Taylor Jones), Thomas Graham Jackett (fiancée Samantha Bleau), Jade Jennifer Jackett and Jordin Daniel (McKayla) Hayes.
Ronald is preceded in death by his mother Barbara Miller and brother Donald Jerome Jackett.
