LAMBERT, Demotha Gae "Dee"- Age 58, of Burton, passed away unexpectedly June 3, 2021. A memorial service will be held 12:30 PM Friday, June 11, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be 11:30 AM until the time of service Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions would be appreciated to the family.
Dee was born October 24, 1962 in Flint, the daughter of Randall and Mary Jane (Dowell) Blakenship. She married Alvin Scott Lambert in Frankenmuth on May 30, 1987. Dee graduated from Carman High School in 1980. She was employed as an Insurance Agent for 30 years with Allstate and AAA Insurance companies. Dee loved her family more than anything, especially spending time at home with her husband, children, and beloved dog, Roscoe. She loved being outside at their newly built home watching all of the wildlife. Music was a huge part of her life as she loved to sing and even write songs. Dee also loved the outdoors and traveling to Virginia to visit her family.
Dee is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Alvin Scott Lambert; children, Ashlee Marie (Richard Grant) Lambert, and Alex Spencer Lambert. grandson, Aidan Grant; mother, Mary Jane Blankenship; siblings, Randall "Rusty" Blankenship, Teresa (Leonard) Charette, Timothy Blankenship, Pamela Blankenship, Kirby (Debbie) Blankenship; she is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews; and brother in law, Mark (Laura) Lambert.
Dee was preceded in death by her father, Randall Blankenship; father in law Alvin F. Lambert; mother in law, Judith Ann Lambert; mother in law, Shirley (Lewis) Lambert. Online tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes. |
