CURTIS, Robert D. “Bob” - Of Flint, age 79, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at home with his family.
Visitation 11am-3pm and 5-8pm Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Memorial service will be held 11am Friday, August 29, August 2014 at Bristol United Methodist Church, 5285 Van Slyke Road, Flint, 48507.

Robert was born in Flint on July 13, 1935, the son of the late Herbert and Florence (Johnson) Curtis. On August 2, 1952, he married Margaret Barnett and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2010. Bob was discharged from the United States Air Force in 1962, returning to Flint. He was a member of Bristol United Methodist Church and the Genesee County Kennel Club. Bob was a former Director of Huron River Labrador Retriever Club.
Surviving are son, Robert (Joyce) Curtis;
grandchildren, Jessica Lannon-Ing, Jennifer Yopp and Charles Curtis;
9 great-grandchildren;
three sisters and his two beloved dogs, Dancer and Juno.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles D. Curtis and one brother and one sister.
Memorial donations may be made to Bristol United Methodist Church or the Genesee County Kennel Club.
