William Blackstock, 71, of Flushing, Michigan died Friday, February 12, 2021 at his home. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial service will be held at a later time. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan.
Bill was born in Bad Axe, Michigan on August 7, 1949, the son of the late Amelia Marie Blackstock. He graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1967 and served in the U.S.Army during Vietnam, returning home in 1969. He retired from General Motors after 33 years. He married Rosemary Vuillemot in April, 1975 and they had a son together, Todd Blackstock.Bill loved antiques, his dog Bailey and especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary, son Todd, mother Amelia Marie Blackstock and brother, Dale Blackstock. Bill was a fun, loving and caring person who will be greatly missed. He is survived by 11 siblings, many nieces and nephews, and extended family
