Willadean L. Bezinque, of Lapeer, Michigan passed away on March 10, 2021 at 88 years of age.
Devoted wife of the late John; loving mother of the late Kenneth, Mark (Colleen) Bezinque, Melvin (Nancy) Bezinque, and Karen James; proud grandmother of Quetrina Bray, Mark Anthony (Heidi) Bezinque, Christopher (Gabriella) Bezinque, and Kimberly (Dennis) Metcalf; step-grandmother of Cynthia (Josh) Bernard and Anthony Scott Melton; great-grandmother of 11; also survived by many extended family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Sylvester and Bethie Griswold; and siblings, Grace and Rayce.
Willadean was born in Flint on December 8, 1932. She was a founding member and deacon at Calvary Presbyterian Church following her graduation from Kearsley High School. She worked for a bit at Kearsley and at Marble Carburetor/ AC, but her proudest accomplishments were in being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Special thanks to the extended family and staff at Lapeer County Medical Center for their kindness and compassion in caring for Willadean for over 15 years.
The family will greet friends from 2:00pm-8:00pm on Sunday, March 21 at Brown Funeral Home, 1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, March 22 at the above location, and also live streamed on the Brown Funeral Home Website. Visitation from 10am until time of service. Interment at Crestwood Cemetery.
The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be directed to Grace Presbyterian Church or Calvary Presbyterian Church.
In accordance with state and local mandates, be aware of gathering limitations of 25 guests, please wear a mask during visiting and practice social distancing.
