WAGNER, William – of Burton, age 87, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Fr. Denis Spitzley officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Davison Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice, in William’s memory.
William was born in Flint, MI on October 7, 1934, son of the late Urban and Mildred (Reid) Wagner. He married Marlene Eisenbach Brown on December 20, 1967. He loved to traveling, reading, music and going to museums. William was a member of the Moose Lodge, Elks, 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus, the American Legion Post #0003 and FOE #629. He worked at GM as a Machine Repairman for 38 and half years and was a member of the Local #659. He served 8 years in the United States Navy.
William is survived by his loving wife, Marlene; children, Bryan, Sharlene and William Wagner; step-children, Jack, Chris and Curt Brown; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother James Wagner. A special thank you to Kindred Hospice, nurses and staff, Heather, Kaylee and Dori.
