CARPENTIER, Mary “Bette” Elizabeth (Wismer) – of Davison, MI, age 96, passed away Monday, September 21, 2020. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on a later date.
Bette was born in Midland, Ontario, Canada on January 15, 1924, daughter of the late James and Rose (Pinneger) Wismer. She was employed as a ward clerk for St. Joseph Catholic Hospital, retiring in 1988 after 25 years of service. Bette enjoyed a good cup of tea.
Bette is survived by her son, Mark (Karen) Carpentier; 2 grandchildren, Jason (Anne) Carpentier and Melissa (Monte) Travis; 4 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends in Canada and the US. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Doris, Bob, and Jordy.
