Vachel F. Taylor affectionately known as "Jerry" age 94 was a loving, supportive and dedicated family man.
He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 27, 2021.
"Jerry" was a lover of music, and he was a very talented bass and guitar player. He enjoyed playing with a band called Country Memories and he was also in The Shades of Blue Band. He enjoyed his work and also fishing and camping.
Mr. Vachel F. Taylor "Jerry" leaves to cherish his memory: his children Dale Taylor of Holland Michigan, Gail Henderson of Texas and Chris Taylor of Flint Township; one sister Audrey Miller; grandchildren Johnny Taylor, Cassey (Scott) Higaki, Nicole (David) Jackson, Chad Henderson and Jasmine Taylor and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. "Jerry" was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
"Jerry" was preceded in death by spouse Donna Taylor, son Daryl Taylor and siblings
Dorothy Madison and Edwin Taylor.
Family will greet family and friends at 11:00am for funeral service on Monday, November 1, 2021 at Brown Funeral Home,1480 E. Hill Rd., Grand Blanc. Following the service, he will be interred at Flint Memorial Park with Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, family kindly requests donations be made to the Cavalier Band Booster.
