ROGERS, Jerry A. – Of Flushing, age 80, died Monday, October 13, 2025.
Funeral service will be held 11am Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Cremation will take place following the service.
Visitation 2-4pm and 5-8pm Wednesday and 10am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or McLaren Hospice.
Jerry was born in Paragould, Arkansas on September 2, 1945 the son of the late Arthur “Pete” and Imogene “Ruth” (Gist) Rogers. Jerry graduated from Grand Blanc High School, Class of 1964. Jerry worked at General Motors for 35 years as a Quality Engineer. He was an avid hunter and golfer and enjoyed being outdoors. Jerry was a former member of the Bay City Yacht Club. Jerry especially enjoyed driving his red corvette, because that was the “only color”. He always looked forward to spending time at the cabin during deer camp and enjoyed spending time watching his grandkids play sports.
Surviving are children, Lori Rogers, Les (Michelle) Rogers of Grand Blanc;
Grandchildren, Matthew Rogers, Lily Rogers and Mitchell Rogers all of Grand Blanc;
And life-long friends, Larry Hogard and Leonard Graham.
He was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Shawn Rogers.
