Janet M. Michalik, age 68, of Swartz Creek passed away peacefully Friday, November 27, 2020 at her home. Janet was born October 13, 1952, the daughter of Wallace and Glovis (Forgette) Hunter. She worked for Carman Ainsworth Schools-Rankin Elementary for many years. She enjoyed baking and cooking, and loved to host all Family Holidays and Celebrations. Janet is survived by her husband, John Michalik; sons, Roberto Martinez, and Jackie Michalik; grandchildren, Megan, Tyler, Peyton, Jade, and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Willow and Segar; siblings, Denise Hunter, David Hunter, Patty (Jimmy) Jircik and Rose Scholl. As well as three nephews and four nieces. Janet was preceded in death by her Parents, and Sister, Diane Hunter and Brother, Greg Hunter. A Celebration of Janet’s life will be scheduled for the Summer of 2021. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease Foundation, Inc.
