PHILLIPS, Gracie Henrietta - Age 89, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Monday, January 20, 2025 at the Chapel of the Holy Innocents at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton (The service will be live streamed and can be viewed via Gracie's obituary page at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com). Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Burial in Flint Memorial Park in Mt. Morris following the luncheon. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Sunday from 4-8 PM and at the church Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass. A Vigil service at the funeral home 7 PM Sunday. Those desiring may make contributions to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Gracie was born January 1, 1936 in Napoleon, OH, the daughter of Martin and Lillian (Shinew) Zehner. She was a 1953 graduate of Bendle High School. She married Harold "Ray" Phillips September 7, 1985 in Flint. She had resided in Fenton since 2019 coming from Swartz Creek. Gracie retired from Flemings Market in Flint as a cashier and bookkeeper after 32 years of service. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. She also was a member of the Fenton Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, playing Bingo and Bonko, bowling, baking and making homemade candy with her mother.

Surviving are: her husband, Ray; children, Pamela Graham of Lapeer, Christine Stewart of Knoxville, TN, Karen Courtney (Terry) of Farmington, MO and Jay (Nancy) Fuller of Oklahoma City, OK; 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; sister, Rosemary (Gary) Tinham of Sun City, AZ; sister-in-law, Darlene Zehner of Reynoldsville, OH; step-sister, Kathy; and several nieces, nephews and cousin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Lillian Zehner; grandson, Jeremy Timbs; brothers, Martin Zehner and Jerry Jones; and son-in-law, Douglas Graham. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
