In Loving Memory of Ruth Rensberry
Ruth Rensberry, 78, of Owosso, MI, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, Ruth lived a life full of love, generosity, and kindness. She was the heart of our family and a shining example of resilience and grace. For 60 wonderful years, she was married to her beloved partner, Forrest Rensberry, sharing a bond of unwavering love and partnership.
Ruth was known for her adventurous spirit and love of traveling the world. She found joy in painting, crocheting, caring for plants, and making her house a warm and inviting home. Her infectious laugh and healing hugs will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to experience them. Ruth found immense pride and happiness in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow, loving them with every ounce of her soul.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Forrest Rensberry; her daughter, Trina Ford (Thurston); grandchildren Rachel Taphouse (Erik Brabo), Tyler Ford (Callie), Michael Rensberry, and Laura Rensberry; and great-grandchildren Dustin Taphouse, Gunnar Evans, Raymond Brabo, Khaleesi Taphouse and Abigail Brabo. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Fisher; brothers, Gerald and Ron Schulze; and many other beloved family members and friends.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Les Schulze and her son, Martin Rensberry.
Ruth was a source of wisdom, comfort, and unconditional love. She was always the one we could turn to for her honest advice and heartfelt support.
Her life will be celebrated privately at a later date with her family.
While we will miss her deeply, we find solace in knowing she is at peace and reunited with those she loved who have gone before her. Ruth leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a hint of stubbornness that will forever warm our hearts.
"Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure."
