Ellen Jane Hall was born April 9, 1940 in Jackson, Michigan, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Rose (Leece) McGuire. She and Robert Hall were united in marriage on October 6, 1962. Prior to her marriage, Ellen worked at Consumers Power Company. She enjoyed golfing for many years in Jackson and in Grand Blanc. She also was a member of various bowling leagues. She loved to garden and do a multitude of crafts including knitting, crochet and painting landscapes. Later in life she pet sat and watched friends children when they went out of town. She also did interior painting and wallpaper.
Left to cherish her memory are her son Patrick Hall and his life partner Joe Rauschenberger, grandson’s Andrew Hall and fiancé Jennifer, great grandchildren Christian, Julia and Quinton and grandson Alex Hall. Daughter Karen Smith, grandchildren Mick Rainey, Samantha Danis, Oliver Smith and Zeke Smith.
Ellen was preceded in death by husband Robert and son, Christopher.
There will be a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, 11804 S Saginaw, Grand Blanc, Mi 48439 on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00 am to honor both Ellen and her son, Christopher. |
