JABLONSKI, Catherine Ann – of Davison, MI, age 71, went home to Heaven on Thursday, August 11, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 12 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Fr. Dieudonné Ntakarutimana celebrant. Interment immediately following the Mass in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 11 AM-12 PM Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family for Cathy’s great-niece’s college education.
Cathy was born in Flint, MI on August 2, 1951, daughter of the late George and Frances (Romanowski) Jablonski. She was a graduate of Flint Northwestern High School Class of 1969. Cathy was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She worked as an associate for the family business, Jablonski’s Bakers Corner. Cathy loved traveling, she went to Hawaii for vacation and stayed for 13 years! She was an animal lover and she enjoyed gardening. Cathy was a loving sister, aunt and great-aunt. She did all she could for her family. Cathy will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her.
Cathy is survived by 2 brothers, Rick Jablonski and Brian Jablonski; niece, Sara (Arlen Smith) Jablonski; great-niece, Brinley Smith; many other loving family members, including Cassie Baker and her family, and good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Frances Jablonski; 2 brothers, Mark Jablonski and Jim Jablonski.
The family would like to extend a very sincere thank you to Cathy’s cousin, Nancy Earley and Cathy’s neighbor, Shirley for their love, support and friendship.
