Sarah Ann Stewart - of Fenton, Michigan passed away peacefully on the morning of Friday, November 17th, 2023. A memorial gathering will be held 2-4 PM Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. She was born on July 10, 1936 to Golda and Charles Riley in Topeka, Kansas. She grew up in Spring Gap, Maryland where her mother was postmaster. She married John Allen Stewart of Flint, Michigan in 1957. She lived in Flint and Fenton Michigan until her passing. She was a registered nurse, earning her degree from John Hopkins University. She worked as a public health nurse after moving to Flint. She later trained as a Nurse Practitioner and a Physician’s Assistant. She cherished her neighbors, her children and grandchildren, and her 60 years on Pine Lake. She is survived by her sister Opal, her three sons, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
