Ronald Owen Price, age 74, of Flint, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Ronald graduated from Holly High School, class of 1967.
Ronald, better known as "Perch", was a man who enjoyed his life, and lived it to the fullest. He was an avid and tenacious fisherman, and he would often be found in one of his many fishing spots such as Ludington, Saginaw and Traverse Bay, just to name a few. Whether he was boat fishing or pier fishing, Ronald thoroughly enjoyed all of it - fishing was his life. One of Ronald's many famous quotes was "Fish on" and that he did.
For many years, Ronald worked as a civil draftsman for both Kraft Engineering of Flint and CHMP Architects Engineers of Grand Blanc. As a civil draftsman his precision and technical skills were exemplary. Such as his ability to edit and create blueprints by hand, which has since become a lost art. Many old blueprints required this skill, as they could not be converted to the more modern computer drafting we know today. He continued to further his abilities in this field by also learning computerized drafting. (CAD)
Ronald was a walking encyclopedia and knew something about everything. He was a hardworking and dependable man. His wise and patient nature will be deeply missed by so many who loved and cared for him. Ronald cherished his family, and was very proud and supportive of his grandson Gage. Ronald will be greatly missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege to know him.
Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Amber (Noah) Queen and grandson Gage (Malea) Clayton.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents Jack Owen and Betty Ann (Stetler) Price and brother Jeffrey L. Price.
A memorial celebration for Ronald will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hill Funeral Home - 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. |
