BOTTOMS, Charles F. - age 71, of Burton, passed away May 17, 2021. Memorial Mass will be 12PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 6340 Roberta Street, Burton. Fr. Carl Simon Celebrant. Arrangements provided by Sharp Funeral Homes Miller Road Chapel 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Memorial contributions in Charles memory would be appreciated to The Alzheimer's Association.
Charles was born September 30, 1949 in Flint, the son of George Ralph and Rosalie Louise (Parker) Bottoms. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1967. Charles was employed by GM/Buick Division for 30 years retiring in 1997. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, sportsman and a life member of the NRA. Charles "didn't have many friends but every one of them got 110% of what he had." He was a great friend and one of the smartest they knew!
Charles is survived by: nephew, Ken (Angie) Engel; cousins, Dick (Marilyn) Bottoms, Peg Tortorice, Mary Ann Stakolosa, Joanie (Carl) Snyder; former wife, Penny Bottoms; special friend, Debbie Niver. Special thanks to Chris and Melissa from Redwood Manor.
