TKACZ, Michael Dale - age 68, of Lennon, died Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Genesys Health Park. Services will be held 5 PM Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 1 PM until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family. Michael was born October 25, 1945 in Durand, the son of Michael and Myra (McMillan) Tkacz. He was a graduate of Swartz Creek High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Michael married Cynthia Abeare on September 29, 1978 in South Carolina. Surviving are: wife, Cynthia; six children, Michelle Tkacz, Michael (Jamie) Tkacz, Jr., Danille (Joe) Hopper, Melissa (Everett) Palmer, Joseph (Rhonda) Tkacz, Stacey (Noah) Risinger; 14 grandchildren; sister, Trudy Tkacz.
