Leonard N. Mauer of Flushing, age 74, died Monday, February 10, 2014, at Gentiva Hospice. Private services have been held. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to Old Newsboys or Disabled American Veterans.
Leonard was born in Grand Blanc, Michigan on February 22, 1939, the son of Edward and Mollie (Gideon) Mauer. He married Paula Ranger on December 4, 1980.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Paula; children, Natalie Kremer, Michelle and husband John Barlow, Lance Mauer; step-children, Dennis and wife Gaylynne Chaney, Julie and husband Rob Moen, Brian Turner; 21 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Fred and wife Sharlene Mauer and Max and wife Shirley Mauer; and close friends, Becky and Rick Slater. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-daughter, Tiffany Turner. |
