PETERS, Noreen Sylvia - Age 99, of Fenton, died Saturday, January 1, 2022. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions to Adopt-A-Pet, 13575 Fenton Road, Fenton, MI 48430.
Noreen was born September 29, 1922 in Jackson, AR, the daughter of Thomas Homer and Nellie (Sexton) Eason. She married Roscoe Leroy Robbins and he preceded her in death in 1945 while serving his country in WWII. She had resided in Fenton since 2006 coming from Flint. She was a bartender/manager for several bars in Flint; she also had worked at Fisher Body Tank Plant during WWII. Noreen was a member of the Flint Township Senior Center. She was an avid reader and loved to play bingo and shop.
Surviving are: her son, Larry Robbins of Fenton; grandchildren, Krista Robbins of Fenton, Jon Robbins of Longmont, CO, Kelly Robbins of Phoenix, AZ, and Jarrod (Thressa) Robbins of Swartz Creek; great grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor (Joshua), Katelyn, Benjamin, Max, Braylin, Griffin, and Dalton; nephew, Tommy Weidenhammer; and niece, Jilane Fenner.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Rubena (Thomas) Weidenhammer. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
