Murphy, Robin Gayle - Of Burton age 62 on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Family witnessed the presence of Heaven as the doors opened from this life to eternal glory as Robin smiled just before she gave up her earthly body peacefully and gently as she took her final breath at 8:25 AM surrounded by her family.
Robin was a church of Christ goer as a child and baptized at the age of 13 Robin recently reaffirm her faith and confirmed heaven as her eternal home. Robin spent a lifetime in the business of hospitality and serving others. Robin was so much more than one of a kind, she was sunshine, a shining light in this world, a heart that was always for others. She was selfless, kind and loving. Unforgettable! Robin was the third born of 7 children. Robin‘s family was not only her strength and foundation, but it was most important to her. Robin was all woman courageous, strong and a fighter. Robin will remain as a pillar to her family, a profound influence that her presence will forever linger with and within us. Our faith sustains us as the promises of heaven confirms we will see her again.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, March 31, 2025 at Swartz Funeral Home 1225 West Hill Rd., Flint. Dr. Max B Hayden officiating.
Visitation will be at 1 PM Monday until the time of service.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Robin was born in Flint Michigan on February 27, 1963.
Surviving are: her one and only child, Robert (Layla) Murphy.
Grandchildren, Kaleigh, Brooklyn, Joseph, Alina, and awaited Grand baby Murphy.

Robin was preceded in death by: her mother Catherine Murphy Dodge, Father: Orren, David Murphy, Brother Timothy Murphy, and Great nephew Chasten-Hensley. As well as many aunts, uncles and other family. And a lifetime of so many friends.
The family would like to send out a special thank you to First Hospice Care. For the tender, loving care in her final days that was given by the staff. Especially nurses Kenna and Tiffany. But to all the staff that showed such support. Thank you. |
