WEIDENHAMMER, Hazel – of Davison, age 85, passed away May 2, 2017 at Medilodge of Grand Blanc. A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Friday, May 5, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Dr. Darrell Foltz officiating. Burial will be in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 11 AM – 7 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Hazel was born in Davison, MI on March 23, 1932, daughter of the late Harvey and Hazel (Locke) Musselman. She belonged to Girl Scouts for 50 years and taught Sunday School. Hazel was a woman of great faith. She loved canning and enjoyed making wedding cakes. She loved everyone.
Hazel is survived by children, Debbie (Roberts) Oaks and Diane (James) Miller; grandsons, Jon Oaks and William (Chris) Slusser; siblings, Edith Fanchier and Harvey (Betty) Musselman; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by children, John (Rusty) Weidenhammer and Julie Weidenhammer; sister, Janet (Ed) Machelski; brother-in-law, Bud Fanchier.
