MILLER, Diane Jean (Giddings) – of Burton, MI, age 82, passed away Sunday, September 12, 2021. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Diane’s Life will be held on a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Autism Support and Resource Center, 4476 Dort Hwy., Burton, MI 48529, in Diane’s memory.
Diane was born in Flint, MI on July 13, 1939, daughter of the late Dallas and Marilyn (Sills) Giddings. She married Robert James Miller on January 20, 1968 in Davison, MI and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2021. Diane enjoyed gathering with people, especially her friends. She also loved baking cookies, earning her the nickname “The Cookie Lady”.
Diane is survived by her son, Gregory Miller; grandson, Vincent Miller; 2 sisters; 1 brother; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dallas and Marilyn Giddings and her husband, Robert James Miller.
