COATES, Michael Armour “Mike”– of Burton, MI, age 45, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life will be held at 3 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the Leisure Lake Clubhouse, 10001 E. Goodall Rd., Durand, MI 48429; Kandace Chatwell will give a Eulogy, followed by a time to share memories.
Mike was born in Flint, MI on April 29, 1976, son of late Michael “Mickey” and Sandra “Sandi” (Alburtus) Coates. Mike enjoyed attending Comic Con conventions, watching all sports with a special love for football and Nascar. When he was able, he was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed fishing with his great niece and nephew. Mike loved spending time with family, friends and sharing his humor through Facebook memes.
Mike is survived by sisters, Michelle (Teri Broadway) Craton and Christy Moore; niece, Kylie (Anthony) Pychon; great niece, Karlie; great nephew, Devin; his loving dog, Abby and many other loving family and friends.
