Severn (Sova) Grace A. – age 90 of Mt. Morris died Thursday, August 3, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. A funeral service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Cremation to follow, Pastor Darrel Manning to officiate. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 4PM until 8PM at the funeral home and on Tuesday from 11AM until the time of service.
Grace was born September 9, 1932, in Cheboygan, Michigan, to the late Henry and Dorothy Sova. Grace married Neil on October 15, 1950, sharing 63 years together. Grace enjoyed gardening, fishing, reading, and feeding the birds.
Surviving are: Children: Bruse (Cindy) Severn, Denise Gillies, Thomas (Mary) Severn, Steve Severn, Cheryl (Chris) Harcz, Laurie (Doug) Mansfield, and Jeffery Severn; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Dorothy and Henry Sova; husband, Neil Severn; son-in-law, Anthony Gillies; daughter-in-law, Lynn Severn; siblings: Delores Stevens, Marie Palmer, John Sova, and Ruby Denkins; grandson, John Hetzer, and great granddaughter, Monica Hetzer.
