DEMOTT, Tony – of Ypsilanti, formerly of Lapeer, age 51, passed away Sunday, December 11, 2022. A Funeral Service, with Military Honors under the auspices of the Davison American Legion Post #267, will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Pastor Dan Thorpe officiating. Cremation to take place following the service. Visitation will be from 12-6 PM on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, in Tony’s memory.
Tony was born in Flint, MI on April 4, 1971, son of William DeMott and Diane (Finch) Fuller. Tony graduated from Lapeer West in 1989. He served in the United States Navy during Desert Storm from 1990-1993. Tony was employed with Thomson Reuters. He loved to spend time with family and friends. Tony enjoyed camping trips and kayaking. He attended U of M and loved to watch college sports. Tony was a member of the Campaign for Liberty.
Tony is survived by his mother, Diane (Ed) Fuller; siblings, Michelle (Allen) Pingel, Michael (Vicky) Fuller, Jeffery (Michele) Fuller, Amanda (Andre’) Harrell, Tonya (Lonnie) Reyes-Dickerson and Christopher DeMott; many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, William; grandparents, Leo (Louise) DeMott, Raymond (Carlene) Finch and Harold (Pauline) Fuller.
