HORN, William “Bill” - Of Swartz Creek, age 80, died Monday, August 16, 2021 in Gladwin.
Funeral service will be held 2pm Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Mark Lasley officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
Visitation 3-8pm Friday and 1pm Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
William was born in Flint, Michigan on September 29, 1940, the son of the late Henry and Eleanor (Choate) Horn. On August 11, 1962, he married Elizabeth “Joan” Scobey. He was employed with Chevrolet Truck Assembly for 37 years, retiring in 1996. William was loved by many.
Surviving are wife, “Joan”;
Daughters, Traci (Rick) Webber and Tammi (Gerry) Zito;
Son, Scott (Leslie) Horn;
Grandchildren, Jessica (Dustin) Neubecker, Billy, Victoria, Zach Zito, Seth and Sarah Horn;
Great-grandchildren, Colton and Aubree Neubecker;
Sister, Rachel Chambers and Phyllis (Jim) Clevenhagen;
Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Janie Webber.
