HEALEY, Charlotte Mae “Granny” – Of Flushing, age 62, died Sunday, January 26, 2014, due to lung cancer for approximately two years, at her home.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 31, 2014 at
Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1209 Coutant Road, Flushing, Pastor Cliff Bira officiating.
Burial in Great Lakes National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice or American Lung Association.
Visitation 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Healey will be at the church from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral.
Charlotte was born in Juneau, Alaska on April 2, 1951, daughter of Walter and Florence (McCoy)Cooper and was a resident of Westminster, CA.
She married Clifford Healey on June 15, 1968 at the Marine Corps Air Station in El Toro, CA.
She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She was a volunteer at Springview Elementary School in Flushing.
Charlotte was a wonderful mother, grandmother, wife and friend.
Surviving are husband, Clifford;
son, William;
daughter, Beverly Randazzo;
granddaughters, Karli Healey and Kellie Randazzo;
sister, Betty Cooper of Reno, NV;
brother, John (Theresa) Cooper of Puyallup, WA;
special niece, Danica Deacy of Reno, NV;
lifelong friend, Karla Petz of Simi Valley, CA;
many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Howard Cooper.
