BERRY, Culley S. – Of Grand Blanc, age 98, died Friday, August 17, 2012 Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11 am Thursday, August 23, 2012 at the First Baptist Church, G6106 South Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc,
Dr. Darrell Foltz officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Those desiring may make contributions to the First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc Building Fund.
Visitation 5-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Mr. Berry will be at the church 10 am Thursday until the time of the service.
Mr. Berry was born in Piggott, Arkansas on August 15, 1914, the son of William and Tina Berry.
He married Elizabeth Geren on June 17, 1939. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Blanc and a life member of Grand Blanc Lodge No. 571 F.&A.M., Grand Bland Chapter No. 507 O.E.S., Elf Khurafeh Shrine Temple and the Bay City Consistory.
Mr. Berry worked for Kroger, as a salesman, for 20 years and retired from Applegate Chevrolet in 1980.
Surviving are wife, Elizabeth;
3 sons, David and wife Connie of California,
Joe of Davison, William and wife Linda of Lapeer;
6 grandchildren, Mark (Tiffany), Christopher (Stephanie), Chad, Stuart (Tanisha), Joel (Kristina) and Megan;
7 great-grandchildren;
many nieces and nephews.
