Hugh H Adams Jr, of Flint, Michigan, age 82, died Friday, April 23, 2021 at Symphony Assisted Living in Linden, Michigan. Cremation has taken place.
Hugh was born in Flint, Michigan on August 18, 1938 to Hugh H Adams Sr. and Pearl (Sullivan) Adams; the oldest of 5 children in order, Hugh Jr., Kent (Evelyn), Dale (Patricia), Elinor (Clarence), and Terry. Hugh attended Garfield Elementary, Emerson Jr. high, and Northern High school in Flint, graduating from Northern in 1957. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 until 1962. Except for his Navy service, Hugh spent his entire life in Flint. He was a very social and likable guy and an avid roller skater. He spent many years at Rollhaven rink in Burton, where he made several lifelong friends. When Hugh was not at the roller rink you would find him at church, Central Nazarene where he taught Sunday school and was loved well by that community!
Hugh is survived by his daughters, Melissa and Renee, son Patrick, brother Dale (Patricia) Adams and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by parents, Hugh and Pearl Adams; his sister Elinor, and his brothers Terry and Kent. |
