LANTER, Keith O. - Of Flint, age 89, died Tuesday, April 8, 2014
at his residence.
Per Keith’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the family or the American Heart Association.
Keith was born in Burton Township, MI on April 4, 1925, the son of the late Cleadous and Leone (LoRee) Lanter. Keith served in both the U.S. Navy and Army and was a member of the Davison VFW Post #4087. He enjoyed fishing and camping. Keith retired from the City of Flint after 20 years of service.
Surviving are wife, Shirley;
children, Michael, Brenda (Dennis) LoRee, Ricky (Sue), David (Patti), Roger, Renee (Michael) Endicott;
12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren;
and several nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dorman and special grandson, Matthew Lanter.
