VINCENT, Betty Jane (Christle) – of Flint, MI, age 87, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Calvary Presbyterian Church, 6100 Richfield Road, Flint, MI 48506; Rev. Pete Scribner officiating. Interment immediately following the service in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423 and 10-11 AM Friday, September 2, 2022 at Calvary Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Presbyterian Church, in Betty’s memory.
Betty was born in Flint, MI on June 9, 1935, daughter of the late Lloyd and Ethel (Duke) Christle. She married Thurston “Hap” Vincent on March 29, 1953 and he preceded her in death on May 3, 2013. Betty was lifelong member of Calvary Presbyterian Church.
Betty is survived by her 2 sons, Tom (Mary) Vincent and Tim (Debbie) Vincent; grandson, Kenny (Brenda) Woods; great-grandsons, Adrian Woods and Derek Woods; many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd Christle and Ethel Imig; husband, Hap Vincent; grandson, Jerry Woods; 3 siblings, Geraldine Mays, David Christle and twin sister, Barbara “Bobbie” Christle.
