Wright, Elaine Marie - Age 79, of Flint Township, died June 28, 2023. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Grand Blanc. (A live stream service will be available on Elaine's webpage at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com) Visitation will be held 10:30 AM until the time of the service on Saturday July 1 at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to The Arthritis Foundation. Elaine was born September 21, 1943 in Lapeer, Michigan, the daughter of Charles "Cecil" and Linnie (Borgmann) Carr. She graduated from Mt. Morris School. Elaine spent most of her life in Flint. Elaine married Ivan Wright on October 17, 1964 in Flint, Michigan; he preceded her in death on September 15, 2008. She was a teachers assistant for 19.5 years at Dye Elementary for Carman Ainsworth Schools. She was a member of Unfinished Projects Club (UFO's). Elaine is survived by her three sons, Scott (Christine) Wright of Howell, Roderic (Tammy) Wright of Mt. Morris, Chad (Wendy) Wright of Flint Township; 2 grandchildren, Roderic Wright Jr. and Jasmine White; great-grandson, Blade Wright; brother, Terry Lee Carr of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gene, Charles, Howard and Verl. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
