BURDON, Richard H. – of Davison, MI, age 88, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Community Baptist Church, 3104 North Oak Road, Davison, MI 48423; Dr. Lance Fischer officiating. Interment, with Military Honors, immediately following the service in Pine Grove Cemetery, Burt, MI. Visitation will be from 4-7 PM Monday, May 24, 2021 and 10-11 AM Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Community Baptist Church.
Richard was born in Flint, MI on June 26, 1932, son of the late George and Gurna (Snyder) Burdon. He married Lucille Thornton on September 8, 1956. Richard retired as a mechanic from AC Spark Plug. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening, woodworking, ice skating, motorcycles, shooting pool and spending time with family.
Richard is survived by his 2 children, Richard C. Burdon and Linda (Tom) Graham; 8 grandchildren, Brandon Bland, Rachael Burdon, Aaron Burdon, Christina Honeycutt, Gerald Graham, Joshua Graham, Mary Myers and Sandra Tepatti; 11 great-grandchildren; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gurna Burdon; wife, Lucille Burdon and daughter, Sandra Bland.
