TILLEY, Margaret Ann - Of Fenton, age 79, died Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Mission Point of Holly.
Funeral service will be held 12:30pm Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Reverend James Offrink officiating.
Cremation will take place following the service.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Visitation 1-7pm Saturday and 11:30am Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Margaret was born in Flint, Michigan on March 27, 1942, the daughter of the late Bernard and Merodene (Brundle) Veenhuis. Margaret was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church and founding member of Trinity United Presbyterian Church and was very active in both.
On June 11, 1966 she married Lawrence Tilley at Bethany Presbyterian and they were married 53 years before his passing in 2019.
Surviving are sons, Mark Tilley and Matthew (Candy) Tilley;
daughter, Lisa (Timothy) Graham;
grandchildren, Ashley and Joshua Tilley, Timothy and Dawson Graham;
brothers, Howard Veenhuis and Charles (Nancy) Veenhuis;
numerous nieces, nephews and many beloved friends.
She was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jo Peterson.
