ALEXANDER, Phillip – of Davison, age 72, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at McLaren Lapeer Region. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 12 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423; Rev. Richard Beattie officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) or American Cancer Society, in Phillip’s memory.
Phillip was born in Flint, MI on September 14, 1949, son of the late Lon and Mary (Wisda) Alexander. He married Carolyn Schwind on November 2, 1968. Phillip graduated from Davison High School. He retired from General Motors. Phillip really enjoyed working with his hands. His ideal place to spend time was in the garage, working on his antique cars and Harley Davidson. He built two beautiful homes for his loving family and they will cherish the memories made here.
Phillip is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn; children, Noelle (Steve) Saunders, Adam (Stephanie) Alexander, Eli (Amy) Alexander and Nick (Lisa) Alexander; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters, Teresa Leonard and Karen Wheeler; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by brothers, Richard and Lonnie; sister, Candy.
