SELLEY, Barbara Joyce - Of Fenton, age 83, died Friday, January 19, 2024 at Fenton Healthcare.
A memorial service will be held 1pm Thursday, January 25, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint, Chaplain Dennis Saulino officiating.
Visitation 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Cremation has taken place.
Barbara was born in Steele, Missouri on July 13, 1940, the daughter of the late Charles Conley Bush and Era Maggie Rogers. On July 13, 1970, she married Darryl Selley at the Church of Christ. Barbara was a member of Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed gardening, thrift shopping, going for walks, watching TV, canning food and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Barbara was a homemaker raising three children but also worked as a waitress at a doughnut shop.
Surviving are son, Jeffery (Deanna) Pearson;
daughter, Stephanie (Fred) Schwind;
7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Randy and Rickey Pearson, her parents and 10 brothers.
