SCHILLINGER, Randall Lee "Randy" - Age 75, of Grand Blanc, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Friday, October 4, 2024 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 E. Bristol Road, Burton. Fr. Georges Bidzogo celebrant. Burial in Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be held at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton Thursday from 4-8 PM and at church Friday from 10 AM until the time of the Mass. A Rosary will be prayer at the funeral home Thursday at 7 PM Those desiring may make contributions to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
Randy was born January 22, 1949 in Flint, the son of Ralph Chandler, Sr. and Thelma Elnore (Easton) Schillinger. He was a 1967 graduate of Lake Fenton Highs School; and he received an Associate's Degree in Business from Baker College. He married Nancy Diane Payton April 24, 1981 in Grand Blanc. He retired from GM Chevrolet V-8 Engine Plant. Randy was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and the U.A.W. Local #659. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and being outdoors.
Surviving are: his wife, Nancy; children, Bradley Smith, Cortney Schillinger, Amanda Schillinger and Michael Schillinger all of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Yasar, Saafa and Areej Tahboob, Christian and Madlyn Smith, Sebastion Schillinger, Madison Tuttle and Gage (Trinity) Tuttle; siblings, Steven Schillinger of Grand Blanc, Rebecca Friendly of Fenton and Shaun (Belinda) Schillinger of Gladwin; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Thelma Schillinger; brother, Ralph Schillinger, Jr.; and sister, Sandra Wikander. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
