Henderson, Mary Jo Ann, age 74, of Flushing, died Monday, July 26, 2021, at McLaren-Flint. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Rossell Funeral Home. Pastor Clarence Lewis will officiate. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Memorial Service.
Mary Jo was born in Alpena, Michigan on November 9, 1946, the daughter of Leonard and Alice (Barger) Green. She married Don Henderson on August 8, 1998. Mary Jo worked as a Beautician for over 40 years, retiring in 2002 from Naturally You salon. She enjoyed painting, crafting, and doing home improvements. Mary Jo had a green thumb and loved animals.
She is survived by her husband, Don; children, Kelly Lewis, Tony (Heather) Stephens, Michelle (Jamie) Moriarity, Scott (Tessa) Foote, Sandy (Runar) Andersen; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Kathy (Charlie) Carriveau, David (Janet) Green, and Vicky Stone. Mary Jo was preceded in death by her children, Patrick Stephens, Jerry Nolan; and siblings, Janet Arnold and Betty Allen. |
