Ethan Ray Slough, age 28, our loving, tough, caring, and dedicated father, husband, son, grandson, brother, uncle, and friend passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 5, 2023.
Ethan was born in Flint, MI on September 20, 1995, to parents Kevin and Donna. Ethan married Sarah Kellett and together they welcomed their son, Harrison, and shared countless memories. Family enjoyed calling Ethan, “Big E”. Ethan was working with Bristol Steel Conveyor Corp. in Davison. Further, he was serving with the Michigan National Guard and had been deployed to Poland and Guantanamo Bay. Ethan had a love for the game of football and was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions. Further he enjoyed movies, music, and singing. Also, Ethan liked food challenges at restaurants and his favorite foods included, Mexican, pizza, and anything sweet! Above all, family was most important to Ethan; he especially loved being a dad to his son, Harrison, and husband to his wife, Sarah. His smile, enthusiasm, and caring ways will be deeply missed.
He is forever loved by his wife, Sarah Slough; son, Harrison Slough; mother, Donna (David) Wood; father, Kevin (Carol) Slough; mother-in-law, Ruth (Dale Bennett) Kellett; father-in-law, Kim Kellett; brother, Kody (Chelsea) Slough; sister, Haliey Johnson; step-sister, Lena (Justin) Bernardo; sister-in-law, Leanne (Evan) Franke; grandparents, Diana Slough, Don & Janet Andis, Charlie & Doris Wood, and Virginia Smith; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Ethan is preceded in death by his grandfather, Willard Slough; uncle, Kevin Rabideau; and cousin, Alexis Thompson.
Ethan’s family will welcome visitors to the Millington United Methodist Church (9020 State Road, Millington, MI 48746) on Thursday, November 9, 2023, from 1-7 p.m. Ethan’s funeral will be at the Millington United Methodist Church on Friday, November 10, 2023, at 2 p.m.; additional visitation at church from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sarah and Harrison Slough.
