Age 66 of Flushing passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm Monday, May 9, 2022 at Nelson-House Funeral Home with Pastor Marlene Webster officiating. The family will receive friends at Nelson-House Funeral Home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of service.
Cathy was born February 17, 1956 in Flint, the daughter of Douglas and Virginia (Videan) Stephenson.
She graduated from Southwestern High School, class of 1974 and attended Ross Medical School.
Cathy was an avid animal lover and had a special love for her dogs and cats and any stray. She enjoyed traveling and music; especially classic rock she also played piano and guitar. Most of all Cathy had a passion for taking care of and spending time with her family. She loved being a mom and grandma.
Cathy worked at McLaren Hospital for 20 years as a switchboard operator and was a coffee shop manager.
She is survived by her daughters Angie Bocek and Andrea Crockett; granddaughter Isabella Crockett; other loving family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents, cousin Donna Reed, son-in-law Erik Bocek; and boyfriend Dale Morrison.
